Building Department Offers Sunnyside Help

The NYC Department of Buildings will hold a free DOB in Your Community session on Saturday, August 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Community Services, 43-31 39th Street. Small property owners, homeowners, building managers, contractors, and small business owners can meet with department staff about permits, construction and maintenance rules, open violations, OATH summonses, and stop-work orders. Registration is encouraged, but the session is designed for residents and local property stakeholders who need direct guidance on building-related questions.
