Sanctuary Streetlight Assessment Hearing Scheduled

The Meridian Township Board will hold a public hearing Tuesday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m. at the Meridian Township Municipal Building, 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos, on a proposed streetlighting special assessment for Sanctuary No. 2. The plan covers four LED streetlights along Crane Circle for lots 1 through 7. The estimated first-year assessment is $208.25 per lot, followed by $104.13 annually. A property owner or interested party may protest in person or by letter before the hearing closes. The notice applies specifically to the affected Sanctuary No. 2 properties.
