Trail Study Seeks Planning Proposals

Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, for the Burns Harbor Redevelopment Commission's request for transportation planning services for the Burns Harbor SS4A Regional Trails Network Gap Analysis Project. The proposed study would examine a 1.75-mile trail gap connecting the Marquette Greenway's Navajo Trail and the Prairie Duneland Trail near South Babcock Road. The study area includes US 20, SR 149, North Boo Road, Westport Road, Haglund Road, Old Porter Road, South Babcock Road, and Verplank Road. The planning project has maximum funding of $150,000 and is not yet a construction award.
