Family Camp Offers Island Exploration

Dauphin Island Sea Lab Family Camp is scheduled for September 18 through 20 as an overnight program for families with children ages 8 and older. Activities include a research vessel trip, nighttime crab hunting, beach exploration, a salt marsh kayak expedition, island history visits, and a behind-the-scenes Alabama Aquarium tour. The $200 fee per participant includes lodging, meals, activities, and supplies. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and enrollment is limited, so families should register through the Sea Lab before making plans to attend.
