Old Dauphin Way History Program

Local historians Todd Duren and Tom McGehee will present an evening about Old Dauphin Way and Mobile history on September 24 at 6 p.m. at Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, 1507 Dauphin Street. Duren will discuss the Jazz Age in Midtown, while McGehee will focus on landmarks and neighborhoods that have disappeared over the decades. The free program covers more than 150 years of local history and gives residents an opportunity to learn about the area's changing streetscape and communities.
