Mobtown Picnic Pop-Up Fills Washington Square

The City of Mobile's Mobtown Picnic Pop-Up is scheduled for September 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Washington Square, 251 Chatham Street. Residents can bring a blanket, chair, picnic basket or other personal items and enjoy live music by Matthew Wojo, food trucks, local vendors and outdoor activities. Pets must be leashed, and owners are responsible for cleanup. The event is weather-dependent, so the city says any delay, cancellation or postponement will be shared through its official communication channels.
