Seed Library Season Ends August 31

The Manhasset Public Library's Seed Library is available in the Cafe through Monday, August 31. Library cardholders may check out up to three seed varieties, complete the checkout sheet, plant them and save and dry harvested seeds for return. The library says its Seed Exchange Program continues year-round during the September-to-March off-season, with tools, guides and seed drop-off available at the circulation desk. Residents who want to use the seasonal seed collection should visit before the August 31 closing date.
