Historical Society Reopens With Access Ramp

The Northport Historical Society and Museum will hold its grand reopening on Thursday, August 27, after completion of its Access for All ramp. The event is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. at the museum, 215 Main St. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 4 p.m., followed by drinks and light bites inside the museum until 6 p.m. The reopening marks the return of museum visits after the accessibility project and gives residents an opportunity to see the completed entrance improvements during the public celebration.
