Healthier Comfort Foods Class Scheduled

Adults age 50 and older can attend a free Cooking Healthier Comfort Foods class Friday, August 28, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Heritage Senior Facility, 300 S. Racetrack Road. Chef Travis will demonstrate healthier options for familiar comfort-food recipes, and the City of Henderson says Intermountain Health sponsors the class. The session will take place in the facility's demonstration kitchen. Residents can use the Henderson Parks and Recreation registration system to check the activity and confirm availability before attending.
