Newton Holds Remembrance and Recovery Day

The Center for Prevention and Counseling will hold a Remembrance and Recovery day throughout downtown Newton on Monday, August 31. An art exhibit will be available for drop-in viewing from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Sussex County Community College's Arbor Restaurant, 45 Main Street. A remembrance display will line Newton Green from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, followed by a memorial and candlelight closing ceremony from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Recovery support, mental health, and grief service information will be available during the event.
