Library Serves Patrons Before Renovation

The Gardner Library at 137 E Shawnee St. will close beginning Tuesday, September 1, for renovations expected to continue through November. Monday, August 31, is the last regular service day before the closure, with posted hours of 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The project includes partial roof replacement and interior updates involving paint, carpet, furniture and shelving. Curbside holds pickup will be unavailable during the renovation, while the ballot box will be relocated to the northeast corner of the library property.
