Playground Passport Entries Due

Children ages 2 to 12 have until Aug. 28 to complete Lenexa's Playground Passport program. Participants visit 16 of the city's 27 playgrounds, collect letters from signs near the play areas and bring the completed passport to the Parks and Recreation desk at the Lenexa Rec Center. Registration is free. Children who finish the passport receive a Lenexa Likes Futbol T-shirt and a small prize, along with a chance to win a gift card for sporting goods or Parks and Recreation programs. Siblings may share one passport if each child's name is listed.
