Rainbow Road South Closes August 20

Rainbow Road South will be fully closed between Waterford Boulevard and South Shore Drive in the bridge area from August 20 through September 4. The City says crews will excavate a large trench across the road to install underground stormwater infrastructure, making the route impassable to vehicles. Drivers should follow posted detours, plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time. The construction schedule is an estimate and may change because of weather, site conditions or changes in project scope.
