Western Headworks Pathways Close Thursday

Two sections of the Western Headworks Canal pathway will close beginning August 13 during stormwater infrastructure work in south Chestermere. The west side of Rainbow Road, on the train bridge side, is scheduled to remain closed through September 30. The east side between Rainbow Road and the Edible Garden is scheduled to remain closed through October 30. People walking or cycling in the area should check their route before leaving and use other available pathways while these closures are in effect.
