Aurora Hosts Monarch Tagging Program

Aurora residents ages 9 and older can join a monarch tagging community science project Sunday, Aug. 23, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Morrison Nature Center at Star K Ranch, 16002 E. Smith Road. Participants will learn about monarch migration before going into the field to catch, tag and release butterflies. No prior experience is required. The program is free, but advance registration is required, and youth participants should meet the posted age requirements.
