Curbside Chipping Returns August 24

The Village's August curbside chipping week begins Monday, August 24. Residents should place stacked, unbundled branches at the curb on their normal trash day, with cut ends parallel to the curb. The program accepts branches 2 to 6 inches in diameter. Twigs and smaller branches belong in the normal yard-waste container, while branches larger than 6 inches must be handled privately. Branches should be out by 7:00 a.m. on the regular trash day. Chipping is scheduled sometime during the week, not on a single guaranteed pickup day.
