Police Community Academy Begins August 12

Chino Police Department's fall Community Academy begins Wednesday, August 12, and continues on Wednesdays through October 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. The 10-week program gives residents, workers and students in Chino an inside look at patrol operations, K9, SWAT, crisis negotiations, traffic enforcement and other department functions. Applicants must be at least 18, pass a basic background check and apply in advance. Space is limited, so interested participants should submit the department's application before the first session.
