Baytown Budget Hearing Set For August

Baytown City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 municipal budget on Thursday, August 27, at 6:30 p.m. The proposal includes a proposed tax rate of $0.69803, a proposed 7.9 percent utility rate increase, and an approximately $102.2 million Capital Improvement Program.
