Royal ISD Students Return August 13

Royal ISD will welcome students back for the 2026-2027 school year on Thursday, August 13. The district calendar lists school hours of 7:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for Royal Elementary, Royal Prairie, and the early childhood center, and 7:25 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. for Royal Junior High, Royal STEM Academy, and Royal High School. The first-day schedule affects Brookshire families whose children attend the district. Families can use the remaining days before August 13 to review campus supply lists, confirm transportation plans, and check campus-specific instructions.
