Teacher Work Days Start August 10

East Porter County School Corporation's calendar lists Monday and Tuesday, August 10 and 11, as teacher work and professional development days. Students are not scheduled for classes on those two dates. The first day for students is Wednesday, August 12. For Kouts families, the immediate practical change is that school buildings will be in staff preparation mode before students return, so the district calendar should be used when planning child care, transportation, and other school-day arrangements.
