Pawtuxet Bridge Lane Shift Continues

As of Monday, August 3, RIDOT says travel lanes remain shifted left on I-295 North and South at the Pawtuxet River Bridge South Bridges between Exit 1A and Exit 1B in Warwick. The agency also reports that the right lane on Route 2 North near the I-295 overpass is closed and reopens just before the I-295 North on-ramp. The pattern is part of continuing bridge work, and schedules are weather-dependent. Drivers using the village area and nearby highway connections should allow extra time and follow posted signs.
