Affordable Housing Committee Meets August 12

The Martin County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, in the county's 4th Floor Workshop Room. The committee evaluates incentives intended to encourage or maintain affordable housing, reviews the county's Local Housing Assistance Plan before it goes to commissioners, and considers recommendations on applications for SHIP funds. The committee can also hear appeals related to the SHIP program. Residents interested in local housing assistance policy can attend and follow the committee's work.
