Mobile Library Returns To Rego Park

Queens Public Library's Rego Park branch remains closed while a new building is constructed at 91-41 63 Drive. On Thursday, August 6, mobile library service is scheduled outside the branch from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The service is offered on Thursdays except holidays, giving residents a local library stop during the closure. QPL says the replacement library will include children's, teen, and adult areas, multipurpose rooms, an elevator, and a green roof, with reopening expected in winter 2029-2030.
