Ventura Fair Traffic Closures Continue

The Ventura County Fair remains open through Sunday, August 9, and the Ventura Police Department says residents should expect congestion around the fairgrounds and downtown. Southbound Figueroa Street between Thompson Boulevard and Harbor Boulevard is closed for the fair, while southbound California Street between the same points closes daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Drivers using U.S. 101 are advised to exit at Seaward Avenue. An ADA-compliant shuttle operates every 15 to 20 minutes until midnight and serves multiple locations across the city. Fairgrounds hours are noon to 11:00 p.m. daily.
