Harrison Road Reopening Scheduled Friday

East Lansing says the full closure of Harrison Road between Grand River Avenue and Saginaw Street is expected to end Friday, Aug. 7. The rehabilitation project includes asphalt milling and resurfacing, ADA sidewalk ramp upgrades, intermittent curb and drainage work, and improvements to the mid-block crosswalk near Glencairn Elementary School. The city lists substantial completion for Aug. 14, so drivers, walkers and cyclists should continue following posted traffic controls until the closure and remaining work are officially finished.
