Beal Street Bridge Repairs Begin

MSU has scheduled repairs to a steam vault at the Beal Street Bridge beginning Monday, Aug. 3, with work listed through Aug. 24. The notice covers the sidewalk and bike lanes on the east side of the bridge in East Lansing. People walking or biking through the area should watch for construction controls and use posted routes while the work is underway. The listed work area is the east side sidewalk and bike lanes, so those facilities are the portion residents should expect to encounter under construction.
