Pleasant Valley Schools Start August 19

Pleasant Valley School District's approved 2026-27 calendar lists Wednesday, August 19, as the first day of school for students. The Camarillo-based district includes Camarillo Heights STEM Academy, Dos Caminos Elementary, La Mariposa Elementary, Las Colinas Middle School, Las Posas Elementary, Monte Vista Middle School, Rancho Rosal Elementary and other local campuses. The calendar lists August 17 and 18 as staff development days. Families should confirm their school's bell schedule, classroom assignment, transportation information and any campus-specific first-day instructions before the school year begins.
