Primary Election Set for August 4

Bedford County voters will cast ballots in the Democratic and Republican primary elections on Tuesday, August 4. Regular polling places will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and voters who are in line by 7:00 p.m. may vote. Forest residents should use the county's address-based voting lookup to confirm their polling place. Virginia does not require party registration, but voters may participate in only one primary. Bring an acceptable form of identification; voters without one may sign an ID confirmation statement or vote provisionally.
