Bedford County Primary Election Day

Bedford County's Democratic and Republican primary elections will take place Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Polls at regular voting locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The election includes contests for the United States Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, and local offices. Virginia voters do not register by party, but each voter may participate in only one party's primary. Voters can use the county's address-based lookup tools to confirm their polling place and view a sample ballot.
