Ocean Literacy Workshop Meets July 31

Florida Atlantic University's Center for Educational Strategy and Innovation will hold Dive into Ocean Literacy on Friday, July 31, at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, 14200 U.S. Highway 1 in Juno Beach. The professional development workshop is designed for educators and focuses on ocean science, marine health, conservation, and ways to integrate art into STEAM instruction. The program begins at 7:00 a.m. with a turtle nest excavation, followed by workshop activities intended to help teachers bring ocean literacy and conservation concepts into their classrooms.
