Primary Ballot Drop Box Opens

Johnson County's drop box for the August 4 primary opens July 15 at Gardner Library, 137 E. Shawnee St., and remains available 24 hours a day until 7 p.m. on Election Day. The county also begins mailing requested advance ballots July 15. Voters who choose mail voting must submit an application for this election, and returned ballots must reach the election office or an authorized drop box by 7 p.m. on August 4. The Gardner Library location gives residents a local option for returning ballots.
