Downtown Sidewalk Work Reaches Phase One End

The first phase of Downtown Ferndale sidewalk repairs is scheduled to continue through Friday, July 31, on the south side of Nine Mile Road. During the work, Nine Mile traffic is one-way westbound during the day and returns to two-way traffic in the evening, while south-side on-street parking is suspended during daytime work. Most sidewalks are expected to remain usable, though walking routes and crosswalk access may change. The second phase is scheduled for the north side of Nine Mile Road from October 1 through November 14.
