Pelican Bay Ribbon Cutting Precedes Reopening

Edmond will hold a ribbon cutting for the renovated Pelican Bay Aquatic Center at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, at 1034 S. Bryant Ave. The $7 million renovation is complete, and the center is scheduled to reopen to the public Saturday, July 18. From July 18 through August 9, posted hours are noon to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekends, with Tuesday and Thursday twilight hours from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The renovation includes improved accessibility, new play features, pool repairs, and updated lighting.
