Summer Challenge Begins

The Pioneer Library System's Summer Learning Challenge opens on May 1 and runs through August 15, with the Blanchard branch taking part. All ages can join by logging reading time and learning activities, working toward a 1,000 point goal and milestone prizes. The program also carries a community benefit: if the library system reaches its shared points goal, books will be donated to children enrolled in WIC across the service area. For Blanchard families, it is a strong start to the month and a good way to keep young readers engaged heading into summer.
