Should Sellers Price Crown Point, Indiana Homes More Aggressively in June 2026?
Crown Point, INNot aggressively, but carefully. If I were advising a seller today, I would focus on landing close enough to the market to keep serious buyers engaged from the start.
Last month, the median list price held at $385,000 and the median sold price came in at $386,200. That is a narrow spread, and it tells me pricing discipline still matters more than trying to stretch for extra room on day one.
For sellers, that leaves less room for wishful pricing. Buyers are still willing to pay well when a home feels aligned with the market, but they are also comparing options closely before they commit. A home that starts too high can lose momentum before it ever gets a fair look.
Use recent sold prices as your starting point, not your ceiling. Review your condition, your updates, and your competition together before you launch, then choose a list price that invites showings instead of resistance. If the goal is a clean sale, the first price needs to support that outcome.
