New-construction shoppers should compare Fountain, Colorado homes in June 2026
Fountain, COI would compare the new-construction options against the best resale homes in the same price band. Fountain's active and pending mix includes newer homes from the late 2010s and early 2020s, but the pricing still moves around quickly.
The active side includes $418,000, $455,000, $459,900, and $480,000 homes, while the pending side reaches $519,000 and $764,900. That spread makes it clear that age alone does not decide value.
You still need to ask whether the extra price buys something you actually need. A bigger home or a newer finish can make sense, but only if the monthly payment and the comparison homes both support it.
Compare base price, finish level, and likely tradeoffs before you sign. Then look at the resale homes in the same bracket so you know whether the premium is worth paying.
