Emergency Communication Session Set for September 22

NYC Emergency Management will hold a free virtual session on Tuesday, September 22, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for community and faith-based organizations. The session will cover how to create essential communication strategies before an emergency, including pre-scripted messages, communication roles, and timely public information. Briarwood organizations and neighborhood groups can use the session to strengthen local preparedness and resident outreach. The session is part of the city's National Preparedness Month schedule and is designed for organizations serving New York City communities.
