Bicentennial Exhibit Debuts

Also at King Manor Museum from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a new exhibition, "The Bicentennial Revisited: The Spirit of '76?," opens to the public. The show looks at how Americans interpreted the nation's founding during the 1976 bicentennial through everyday objects such as printed fabrics, commemorative plates, magazines, yearbooks, underground prints, and protest posters. It is a thoughtful local stop for residents who enjoy history told through familiar material culture.
