Burke Lake Family Campout Begins

Burke Lake Park will host a Family Campout beginning Saturday, September 12, at 2:30 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, September 13, at 11:30 a.m. The program includes campground orientation, a guided nature hike, a campfire demonstration, s'mores, field games, and fishing at the marina the next morning. It is designed for ages 5 and older. One registration is required per family and costs $108, including a campsite, the listed programs, and a bundle of firewood. Check-in begins at 2 p.m. Saturday and checkout is at 11 a.m. Sunday.
