Red Oaks Nature Center Marks 30 Years

Red Oaks Nature Center will celebrate its 30th anniversary Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 30300 Hales Street in Madison Heights. Oakland County Parks says the free, all-ages event will celebrate three decades of nature education at Friendship Woods and preview the center's future. Activities will include music and face painting. No registration is required. Residents can attend during the event hours and use the nature center celebration as an opportunity to learn more about county nature programs and the surrounding park resources.
