Visitors Can Watch Fossil Preparation

On Saturday, August 29, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Ice Age Fossils State Park will offer Pop-Up Paleo Lab, an indoor program where visitors can watch a paleontologist prepare and conserve specimens from the park's fossil collection. Guests can ask questions and learn about the tools and techniques used in fossil preparation. The program is intended for visitors of all ages and has introductory content. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Park admission is 3 dollars per person, with free entry for children 12 and under. The program is drop-in, with no registration or added fee.
