Adult Literacy Tutor Training Begins

Project Adult Literacy will hold the first of two required in-person volunteer tutor training sessions Monday, August 24, from 9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Newport Beach Central Library Staff Conference Room, 1000 Avocado Avenue. The second session is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, at the same time and location. Volunteers must complete both four-hour sessions, along with the online orientation, to qualify for certification. Reservations are required and space is limited, so prospective tutors should register before attending.
