Southfield Summer Taxes Due Monday

Southfield's 2026 summer property taxes are due Monday, August 31, without penalty. The City Treasurer's notice says a 3.5 percent charge will be added beginning September 1, followed by an additional 0.5 percent each month beginning October 1. Payments can be made online, by phone, by mail, through the City Hall drop box, or in person at the Treasurer's Office, 26000 Evergreen Road, which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The city says mailed payments must be postmarked by the due date, and metered postmarks are not accepted.
