Free Compost Kits Available Wednesday

Southfield residents can pick up a free food scrap starter kit Wednesday, August 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Southfield Public Library, 26300 Evergreen Road. The city says no registration is required and kits are available to all Southfield residents while supplies last. Staff will be available to answer questions about the composting program.
