Babysitter Training Registration Ends Tuesday

Registration for Southfield's Certified Babysitter Training closes Tuesday, August 25, for the class scheduled Wednesday, August 26. The course is for ages 10 through 18 and runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Southfield Parks & Recreation Building, 26000 Evergreen Road. The city says the class covers CPR practice, first aid, choking response, emergency preparedness, home safety, and when to call 911. The fee is $60, full attendance is required for certification, and participants must arrive with an adult check-in.
