Usery Park Schedules Desert Night Hike

Maricopa County Parks and Recreation will lead a Desert After Dark Hike from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, at Usery Mountain Regional Park, 3939 N. Usery Pass Road. The guided hike covers nearly three miles of moderate-rated trails with about 100 feet of elevation gain and includes views of city lights and the moonrise. Registration is required, and participation is limited to 20 people. The evening schedule is intended to avoid the day's peak heat.
