Public Meeting Addresses Holiday Isle Land

The City of Destin and Okaloosa County will hold a Conflict Assessment Meeting Wednesday, August 19, at 1 p.m. at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center, 1250 Miracle Strip Parkway SE in Fort Walton Beach. The meeting concerns state-owned land in Holiday Isle, Destin, and is part of the governmental conflict resolution process regarding the proposed lease, management, and use of the property. City and county representatives will discuss the issues in dispute and explore possible resolution. The meeting is open to the public.
