Public Input Opens On Facial Recognition

Greenwood Village Police will hold a public input meeting Thursday, August 13, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall, 6060 S. Quebec St. The meeting concerns the department's intent to add image-matching technology to its existing investigative and forensic tools. The city says Colorado law requires an accountability report, public review, and community input for agencies intending to use this technology. Residents can review the report and submit comments as part of the process.
