English Classes Begin at Local Library

White County Literacy Volunteers' English as a second language classes begin Wednesday, August 12, at the Monticello-Union Township Public Library, 321 W Broadway St. The program description says instruction begins at 6:00 p.m., with the evening session listed through 8:00 p.m. Classes are intended for beginners and for people who want to improve their reading, writing, and conversation skills in English.
