Saxony Driveway Work Starts August 17

Construction on Saxony Street is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, August 17, weather permitting. The city says the contractor will remove and replace concrete curb, gutter and roadway, and affected residents should expect to lose access to driveway approaches within 24 hours of the work beginning. Once concrete is placed, it is expected to take seven to 10 days to reach the required strength before barricades are removed. Residents on Saxony should plan parking and household access around the work and follow posted construction directions.
